Rental Conditions and Terms
The Schroon Lake area, in the heart of the Adirondacks is ideal for the
vacationer searching for a home away from home that offers four season
recreation and relaxation, with a multitude of events and attractions
at your fingertips.Our lakes offer great fishing, sailing, water skiing,
canoeing and swimming. There are tennis courts, a number of golf courses
in the area with one in Schroon Lake, and countless hiking trails.
There are musical events like the Adirondack Folk Music Festival,
boathouse concerts, and concerts at the Seagle Colony Music School.
Free square dancing. A year round fishing contest and a hobby fair.
Endless miles of wilderness x-country skiing and snowmobile trails.
Spectacular fall foliage. We are 20 minutes or less from Ft. Ticonderoga,
Natural Stone Bridge and Caves, and numerous state hiking trails.
We are 30 minutes from Lake George which has the Great Escape Fun
Park with over 100 rides, shows and attractions, Water Slide World,
65-70 factory outlet stores, Gore Mtn. Ski Center.
We are 60 minutes from Lake Placid and the Olympic Center, Ausable Chasm, Saratoga
Performing Arts Center, and the North Pole.
Friedman Realty manages the rentals of numerous private houses, cabins, cottages,
and townhouses on and around the area lakes. We rent Saturday to Saturday.
Check - ins are 4:30 PM and check - out is at 10:00 AM.
All units are fully furnished with the basics, including the kitchens. We have
tried to include any extras the units have in the descriptions. If
it is not included in the description assume it is not in the unit.
Friedman Realty is located in the center of the Town of Schroon Lake right across
from the Community Church.
From points south, take I 87 north to exit 27. Bear to the right until you come
to a stop sign. Take a left after about 5 miles you will come into
the town.
From points north, take I 87 south to exit 28. Take a left. You will come to
the red blinking light. Take a right for about 2 miles until you come
into town.
From points east, take Rt. 74 west to Rt. 9. Take a left turn at the red blinking light. Drive for about 2 miles until you come into town.

RENTAL OFFICE HOURS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 9:00 AM TO 2:30PM We explain the accommodations and the grounds to the best of our ability to ensure your enjoyment. However we strongly recommend that you personally view the premises so that no misunderstandings occur.
Linens and towels are provided except where noted. For monthly and seasonal rental; towels, linens and cleaning service may not be included. For weekly rental in units cleaned by Friedman Realty towels will be changed and trash removed on Tuesday. In units that are cleaned by owners there may not be a mid-week visit. In units that are supplied by lake water as a drinking source, we provide two gallons of bottled water. Check with agent.
In any units where any watercraft is provided for your enjoyment it is up to you to provide your own PERSONAL FLOATATION DEVICES as required by law.
A damage/security deposit is required on ALL rentals. Deposits range from $250-$1000, depending on the unit. Ask agent. 50% of the rental plus 50% of the damage/security deposit are required within 10 days of booking a reservation.

NO PETS are allowed on rental properties.
